The Stories We Share

2025.12.20

Saturday, December 20, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Glad you're here. O/

First signs of light in the sky.

At the end of each year we celebrate The Sun returning for longer intervals everyday.

Sunshine means Life. There are many stories and Faiths that tell us why it happens. But the practical day to day reasons for all the hubaloo at Wintertime is the promise of Life returns with the increase of sunlight in each day.

That's the easily sensed reason for the season. Anything more comes down to the stories you choose to ascribe to.

Life turns the lights back on for longer periods of time everyday. Life persists! Color in why with stories, histories, and dreams of your choosing.

Speaking of color, a new verse of Colore dropped last night. The step into Act Two: A whole new world for the hero.

A story is an interesting thing. There's an aspect of entertainment necessary to make a story successful. But a story is not for entertainment's sake alone.

The purpose of stories has always been to share moral truths with each other. Entertainment value helps make the message last.

Every culture is defined by the stories it shares.

Enter questions about what The News is about and for.

What we choose to report and how we choose to talk about it defines our culture.

We're better storytellers, better relayers of truth, than we're showing.

What's happened is we began focusing too much on the entertainment aspect and lost sight of the moral necessity of a story.

This pertains to News Media stories as well.

We are the stories we share.

There's a lot more, and better, that we haven't shared for quite some time.

Share stories of a better world, take care, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

The Reflection of Trees

2025.12.16

Tuesday, December 16, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Welcome back. O/

Something happened. Something changed.

We tend to think of the weather of our days in terms of temperature and condition: like is it raining or windy.

But since Wonder Fell it's easy to see the effect the duration of the amount of sunlight has on each day.

We're more like plants than we admit.

Photosynthesis, for us, comes down to the quality of choices the position of the Sun allows.

Just like a tree stretches its limbs to best reach that star, so we too build our lives to best feed ourselves the light.

A sunny day in Summer makes a different to-do list possible than a snowy Winter's day.

There's a poem in those sentiments. Perhaps you'll write it. Our lives each like the branches of trees. Every leaf a story's success.

A great poetry classroom activity to sketch a poem about. Feel free to use the example above teachers, if you think it to be helpful.

The World for sure, our Country most definitely, would benefit from people understanding more the ways poetry sees and values Life.

There's more truth in the lessons of Nature than Science can say.

Consider the reflection of trees.

What do the ways of trees teach us about our own ways of living?

What can we learn from their wisdom?

Most trees live longer than most people. What's up with that?

Sun's up. The sky's more powdery pleasant blue than it's been for weeks.

Thanks, as always, for reading.

Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Every Morning

2025.11.25

Tuesday, November 25, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Every morning.

These late November days with so little sunshine as we raise holiday cheer and give thanks for the year to prepare for the end of December when the light returns.

Whether we remember it or not, our days are fashioned around the Sun's whereabouts.

If you eat, or breathe air, the location and frequency of sunlight determines your survival.

So I write the sunrise, a thank you note every morning.

A little awe and gratitude and wonder for all things celestial would do all of our AI video gamed pixel fixated selves some good.

Some humility for nerds every dawn on Wonder Fell.

Good morning nerds. O/

You rolled a high intelligence score at birth on your 20 sided-die, but where's your wisdom at?

Wisdom is measured in humility.

To do great things
And still be in awe of the sky
And a baby's cry, is to be wise.

Every morning.

Here's the Sun.

Trees eat all day... devour sunshine so you can breathe.

How nice!

Hope your day is a good one. Prose is calling me. Over to Colore.

Take care, thanks for reading, look around the site some, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Sky Dreams

2025.11.19

Wednesday, November 19, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Readers of the world unite and say good morning; there's peace in the sky.

A poetic way to wish you a good day.

The world works in a certain way. Have you noticed?

Sure there's scientific measures, but what about relationships?

The way trees share the land to make a forest shows us how to make a city, build a town.

Every moth and butterfly knows what it's like to be born into a life that doesn't serve its full potential. Take some time alone. Get to know yourself.

You have wings; you're not a worm.

When you're brave enough to spend enough time alone to find out, you'll find you can fly.

It's an unfortunate truth that so many people are uncomfortable spending time alone because it is during those times they remember they have metaphorical wings.

Reading, painting, singing, playing an instrument remind us there's more to life than feet on the ground... there's head in the sky dreams.

There's pure possibility.

A sunrise is always potential, always comfort. Dawn is consistency.

Cool... frost on just fallen leaves, breath is a sight to see. Winter waves hello.

Hope your day is a good one.

Take care, spend some time alone, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

A Warm Simplicity

2025.11.05

Wednesday, November 05, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Full moon! Gotcha.

Like a clear night sky, the full moon shows its circular shine.

What to do about a perfect and clear full moon?

We could howl at it.

Though, the neighbors might wake.

And a neighbor woke in the middle of the night because you're howling at the beautiful full moon is not the kind beautiful kind of woke neighbor you want.

Exchange your howl for some wonder and get on with the day.

Dreams and themes, themes of dreams, which to write on today?

Celestial spheres? Everyday tears? Joys wished for you?

How about we say hello and go from there?

Hello. O/

Hope all's well.

On with our show...

...

Powder blue hue for a sky this morning. Autumn sets the stage for Winter.

Holiday lingo loiters on signs, comes alive in conversations.

Hats and sweaters, gloves and scarves, ice in coffee gives way for heat hot cups of chocolate or tea.

Winter's chill brings a warm simplicity.

Autumn leaves a blanket of leaves to catch snow.

There's a certain calm in every snowflake.

Rain rushes; snow floats down.

The squirrel gathering acorns and my thoughts think on Winter.

Hope you're staying warm.

Good day feel in the air here.

Perhaps you recognize it too.

Take care, stay warm, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

A Choreography of Sunshine

2025.11.02

Sunday, November 02, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Happy Fall back the clock. O/

It's 'Maybe I'll go back to sleep for a couple of hours early o'clock' here.

If you're wondering the time...

Now you know.

Hope all's well.

On with our show...

...

Or have some breakfast, call it a couple more hours for working time, and keep going.

So here we are a bowl of cereal and you.

How'd you do?

Found Wonderfell again so things must be all right in so many ways.

Glad you're here.

Almost sunrise.

And at a respectable time.

So many think Daylight Saving Time is just an hour more or less of sleep, but it's so much more.

Sunlight and shadows matter so much.

Ask a tree or an Artist. They know the value of the location of the light.

A conversation with friends at night under bright neons is a different conversation in candlelight.

Clouds set the human stage in unspoken ways.

We have the weather and the quality of light in common. Always.

Each shadow out your window was an hour sooner yesterday.

Shadows are an interesting event. We don't consider them enough.

A shadow is what is actually here. Everything we call reality is really just a consequence of the light.

Speaking of light, that brings us to color.

Color is an expression of the light.

But we'll talk more on that in Colore.

...

A soft pastel sunrise this morning.

The sky's a murky serene shade of blue, of grey, of patches of white. Most of the foliage is amber, gold, and red; it crunches under every foot.

Some chimneys smoke, some oaks still have most their leaves.

Time measures seasons and men, weather and women.

Time is the measure of the consequences of light.

So I write the sunrise, keep a report.

Everything is light in a particular dance.

Even you are a choreography of sunshine, Sunshine.

Take care, enjoy the light, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Like a Filter

2025.10.16

Thursday, October 16, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Cup of tea and let it be.

Cup of coffee works, too.

It's up to you.

Here we are back for more sunshine.

Hope you're feeling fine.

Maybe somewhat divine.

If mundane is in your air keep sipping your brew and do your best you.

The light will show soon enough.

Rhymes and lyrics, lyrics, and rhyme.

Sometimes just the sounds and rhythms the mind can make while it reads are reason enough to make a sentence.

Thank you once again for sharing another sunrise with Abe and I.

Thanks for accepting his dog snores from the loveseat as background music.

On with our show...

...

Dawn, the bringer of the blue upside down bowl to pour colors into all things.

Perhaps the way we see the world is like a filter on your camera app.

There's your friend's filter and your filter for the same picture, the same moment.

The same scene can look quite different depending who's viewing it.

Try the Wynn Filter.

There's Wonder in that one.

Sure to cause a comforting daydream or two... thousand.

It's your world view of course, fed to you when young.

As you aged you adjusted it to best suit your understanding.

It's in what you choose to look at, and the words, and the rhythm of the words, you choose to define it.

...

A golden morning glow holds the horizon this morning. Some chimneys puff smoke. A steady wind whisks leaves off branches. They float to fall. A blue jay chirps. A squirrel gathers acorns. A dog on a loveseat snores. You read.

Hope your day is a good one.

Take care, consider your filter, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

A Very Good Question

2025.10.10

Friday, October 10, 2025

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

The first frost of the season, Winter waves hello. O/

Sweater weather on the way.

How's your day?

Lovin' Life lovin' you or Boo-hoo-hoo... it's up to you to choose how to be you.

Do the best you can with what you have to work with while you upgrade what you have to work with.

Dawn, Abe decided to stay in bed (loveseat), a few dog dreams to finish.

On with our show...

...

Chances are every morning you wake up, go about your day while music plays all around you.

Chances are you don't know the singer, or band name, even though you've heard it most days of your life.

What bird sings that song?

A good question.

Seeing as Life thinks you ought to hear it everyday... it's actually a very good question.

Good news. Chances are you have a cellphone.

Good news. There's an app for that.

Many now.

Record the bird song.

Get the band name.

Send the Blue Jay, Robin, Grackle, or Carolina Wren some fan mail Thank Yous for their songs.

A little exercise in Wonder for you.

Kids, even teens, will find it interesting to find out which ringtone Mother Nature chose for their alarm clock.

Hope your day is a good one.

There's a lot to say this morning, a lot that's new.

Feelings, sentiments, new understandings best placed in prose places, storied sentiments for stories.

A red winged black bird for an alarm clock ringtone for me today. A pun sure to make sense to every reader of this post at a later date.

Some prose to post first. Some storied dreams placed in stories to share.

All in good time.

Take care, find out the name of the bands playing in the sky in your neighborhood, and make wonderful this wonderful day.
