Dreams

What's the use?

A Deep Breath of Dreams

Daydreaming is like shopping for a story. Then, it's like cooking.

Sunday, March 29, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

How's the day?

The first light of dawn, the sky starts to showcase blue.

Sometimes the morning just wants to watch the morning.

There's no such thing as an idle daydream. Everything matters; everything adds up.

Dreaming is part of living, as necessary as breathing.

Conscious daydreams are taking a deep breath of dreams.

And what are dreams for?

How come you don't know?

All the stories, myths, Scientific theories, and tales live in a place called The Imagination.

Daydreaming is like shopping for a story.

Then, it's like cooking.

We choose ingredients from this catalog of stories from humanity and build our own recipes.

We do this with everything in our lives.

How many of us would like to fly on the back of a dragon? O/

The same ways to imagine yourself dragon-back flying are used to get you to work everyday.

You have to dream it before you can do it.

How are your dreams of your life?

They're the recipes for your day.

This is why daydreaming is so important.

We gather new ingredients by changing what we dream our day means to us.

You can only be as successful as your dreams allow.

There's so much to say on this. It's how I spend much of my days lately... bringing it all to light in an epic called: Colore.

The start of it is here. A whole lot more is on its way quite soon.

I'll go to it now.

Thanks for reading.

Take care, give care, and make a wonderful day (after you dream one up of course).

Our Bodies Are Our Apps

Each and everyone of us is a Large Language Model making dreams come true.

Tuesday, March 24, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

The Sun starts to show its glow on a dusting of snow The Moon knows about.

Dreams and what The Imagination can do, and is for, is my cup of tea.

And my work.

Your life is a series of the dreams you choose to employ and apply. It's what you have a body for: The application of dreams.

Our bodies are our apps to bring to life the software called our 'self.'

Art and Science mirror Life. All the technology made to make cellphones and AI work have to mirror something already here to exist at all.

The way an initial prompt calls to action every software application is how we live our lives.

Each and everyone of us is a Large Language Model making dreams come true.

And nerds thought they had no use for, or place in, poetry.

Kinda makes you wonder what this substance called dreams is all about.

Random electro-magnetic sparks in our fleshy brains is flat-Earth Science talking.

Antiquated at best.

A better understanding of what all recorded history calls 'spirit' is our next step in evolution.

Science is about to finish the task of making machines to do Science better than any human can.

So, fellow nerds, what's left after all the calculations and measurements are automated?

What dreams are for and can do.

Also known as Art.

Welcome to the show. O/

Let's put all the amazing creations Science made possible to work and make our best dreams come true...

Beautifully.

Just some thoughts this morning on the trend of human thought and where we're headed.

Thanks for reading, take care and make a wonderful day.

Spring!

Time for what's new to start its procession to the stage.

Friday, March 20, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Spring! Happy Birthday Life!

The Great Green Grow Show is Go!

All things rise to fall, then fall to rise. Life is a circle going somewhere.

Where? Well, if we follow the patterns of how Life works, the answer is: To The Start.

We start out a dream of Life in our parents and we end as a dream of Life in The World.

Circles cycle The World around and today is Spring!

Time for what's new to start its procession to the stage.

Out with the old and in with the new is Nature's way.

What about you, Dear Reader? What old ways did Winter wash away for you? What new ways will you grow anew?

Time to get planting dreams of this new year.

It all comes down to the light all around.

The angle of the orbit of our sphere determines the seasons of the year.

The connection between light and life is the basis for all life and grossly neglected by Science.

The Big Bang was a light switch.

All puns always intended.

Deep start of the universe dreams give way to thoughts of buds on bare oak tree branches. Time to bloom while they loom in the first blue hue of Spring's sky.

If the world is a stage, as Shakespeare wrote, today is Curtains up.

Lights, Camera, Act One... Spring.

Thanks for reading, plant some dreams, take care and make a wonderful day.

Why'd You Forget?

Everyday The Sun rises to make possible a place for your dreams to come true.

Thursday, March 19, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

The promise of a new day; it's always kept. What's up with that?

The World spins wishes, hopes, rational thoughts, and Scientific theorems around a star. It doesn't discriminate.

Each and every dream in every imagination has a safe place to turn and churn and yearn to be made real.

Everyday The Sun rises to make possible a place for your dreams to come true.

And while the words sound inspiring they're just stating the most basic truth.

Why'd you forget?

Did you pick up someone else's dreams of a good life and let yours go?

Sit awhile with yourself and remember yourself.

You are alive for a reason. It's up to you to decide that reason and live your life accordingly.

No one else is responsible for the quality of your thoughts and dreams but you.

Life is the process of making dreams real.

Picking up this pen to scribble some arbitrary lines requires the dream to do so first.

So does picking it up to pen a masterpiece.

The quality of the work is always determined by the initial dream of the work.

Like a prompt fed to an AI bot, your return is only ever as good as your investment.

Your dreams are the prompts you feed this great operating system called Life.

Be clear. Be honest. Be considerate. Be persistent. And watch your dreams return.

The World is a mirror for the dreams you present.

The first robin's song this year... a day early by the calendar. Spring arrives tomorrow.

Take care and have that wonderful day already.

The Oak in the Acorn

Hope is for acorn seeds and heroes.

Saturday, March 14, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

How's the trip? How's the ride on this spherical cruise ship called Mother Earth?

Glad these words found you. Let's put them to use.

...

Reading is medicine when you do it right.

Inspiration, inner calm, peace of mind, focus... all very real experiences to be gained through reading.

Reading helps strengthen your relationship with what poets call your voice great within. Think of it like your 'guy-in-the-chair' guiding your hero steps throughout your day.

That voice is you, what you actually are...

The accumulation of so many memories, and stories, and dreams come true, or still left to do.

The idea is trust.

"Trust yourself; you know how to live."
- Goethe wrote so many years ago.

It's still true.

Did you know?

No one tells an acorn how to make an oak. How's it know how to be alive?

The same way you do; it's in you.

The knowledge and know-how to live your best you comes pre-installed.

Like every acorn the quality of our growth is determined by how well we utilize our environment to serve our well-being.

You have dreams of what a good day, a good life, looks like for you. Where did those come from?

The oak in the acorn knows.

Your life has a purpose. It's only when we sit quiet with ourselves once and awhile that we remember it.

Sit. Relax. Remember the dreams that won't die. They've been with you all your life.

Your wishes and wants for a good life... they're called hopes.

Hope is for acorn seeds and heroes.

There's only one way to be a hero. You have to hold a hope no one else has the possibility of making real.

Now you know you do.

What will you do?

The choice is yours, hero.

Take care, if you see an oak tree maybe say hello and congratulate it on making an acorn's dreams come true, and make a wonderful day.

The Answer is Beauty

You'd be better off jumping off a bridge without a bungee cord than attempting to live without a place for The Beautiful in your Life.

Saturday, March 07, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Thaw. Temperatures start to rise.

Spring springing its sprung mists from snowbanks to water every tree from the ground up.

...

What's the use of Beauty? It's part of my Life and Livelihood to celebrate and share it, so what's the point?

Many morning entries touch on what's up with The Beautiful.

But why should you care?

You could, of course, plug your wants and ambitions into some AI software and follow day by day the Large Language Model's replies everyday all day and live a respectable, quite un-beautiful, though successful and unfulfilling Life.

You'd be better off jumping off a bridge without a bungee cord than attempting to live without a place for The Beautiful in your Life.

The experience of beautiful things is a recognition of the harmony of coexistence.

Certain notes come together to make a certain pleasing chord.

It's the same with all acts of creation.

Certain words arranged in a particular manner evoke unique responses in a reader. It's my cup of tea; my Life is built around bringing forth Beautiful recognitions through words.

When words bring about a certain harmony between author and reader we call the experience: Beautiful.

How are we doing? O/

We shape our dreams in the same way we read: Words label clouds of imagination to rain down ideas.

The experience of making a dream into a reality is nowhere better reflected than while we read.

This is the human process AI seeks to emulate.

The important question here is why.

Why do we make language at all?

The answer is Beauty.

To build harmonious relationships with ourselves and Life.

There is so much more to say on this.

A lot is here already on Wonder Fell.

Type in a keyword of something of interest in the search bar.^

Chances are there's a tag for that.

Making labels (and tearing them down) is a Poet's business after all.

Thanks for reading, take care and make a wonderful day.

On Words and Birds

If birds don't interest you in the slightest, please charter a rocketship and go destroy some other planet.

Friday, February 27, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Context.

Do the words you say mean what the words you mean say?

Are you understood?

Hello again, btw. O/

...

There's one rule when it comes to writing and speaking and that is: To be clear.

A focus on clarity of expression in Art and Life is the best gauge of success in communication.

We have a sentiment, the reaction causes a dream, we shape the dream with words to form an idea, we share our idea with our body to give The World.

Basic Being Human 101.

The point in the process where dreams get words to become thoughts is the focus and livelihood of Poets.

The success of Poetry is foundational to the success of humanity.

Imagine a World without language and then agree with me.

It's why Poets often get the reputation of being lost in daydreams; we're at work. We're circumspecting the dreams themselves to see what words serve them best.

Most people have word choice on a kind of auto-pilot. This is a good thing.

Most of the time.

There are aspects to your Life you wish to change. There's only one way to do that: Use new language.

Every word is a storehouse of potential experience.

If your words aren't meaning all they could, they're not meaning all they should.

Check your words; change your life.

...

Not a change of subject, a reminder this is a morning journal... The songbirds arrived! The first true sign of Spring in the air this morning.

Birds will always be the most accurate meteorologists and calendars. They're survival depends on it.

This morning, days after a blizzard, the arrival of songbirds to signal Spring. Time to start the green grow show.

If birds don't interest you in the slightest, please charter a rocketship and go destroy some other planet.

Surely, you must at least think an eagle in flight is worth some consideration.

Songbirds at sunrise! Spring!

Take care and make a wonderful day.

For a Checklist Some Other Day

When we write something we take it out of the realm of Imagining and make it real.

Wednesday, February 25, 2026

Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.

Daylight expands as Spring draws near. The lights are on longer in our house called The Earth.

How's Life? How's your vibe?

Getting it done? Having some fun?

Both and at the same time is my hope for you.

...

Transition Day, change in the air.

Business practical thoughts best suited for a checklist rather than a journal want words this morning.

For years there was a clever quote:

"The only thing a checklist ever makes is another checklist."
- O/

But checklists are helpful.

It comes down to the power of writing.

When we write something we take it out of the realm of Imagining and make it real.

Writing something down is a great way to start or continue making a dream come true.

Even if that dream is Do the Laundry.

Really. In the realm of Checklists there's no difference between Go Grocery Shopping and Live My Best Life.

Checklists don't discriminate.

The modern day checklist is a poetic form.

If you ever wondered about what all the fuss was about with metric verse and the shape of poems, consider the form and power of the modern checklist.

...

People in casual pointed conversations back in Shakespeare's day used an iambic pentameter way of speech to express themselves.

Today we're more trochaic in our everyday speech. I blame coffee and Tyger, Tyger get-it-done, interactions for the change.

The emphasis of each beat in every pop song, rap song, poem, and everyday conversation sets the mood of the presentation.

In language and life lyricism matters.

The difference between a Writer and a Poet is a Poet considers the sound and shape of the syntax as a means of communication.

I wish more writers were of aware of it.

Musicians know when you want to express action you go staccato. You. Get. It. Done.

The best novelist's longest sentences are for a character's introspection. Their shortest conduct action, often in a trochaic fashion.

Perhaps I'll write a short guide on the use of metrics in modern day text.

Something for a Checklist some other day.

Take care and make a wonderful day.
