Morning Journal posts from April 2026
Why Read?
Readers tend to have the healthiest relationships with themselves.
Monday, April 06, 2026
Good morning, Twfw. O/
Why read?
There's enjoyment and learning, but what else?
We navigate the world with an inner conversation. We form language to make the life we sense make sense.
Everyone does.
But not everyone does it well.
This conversation with ourselves is how we shape our lives. We write our life story while we live it.
The stage is set when we arrive. Like an open world video game we travel through life choosing quests and others to team up with.
Just like those games, others have played before, others lived. Some left a record of quests they completed.
This is one reason to read: to learn from others.
To feel life from just experiencing words is the other reason to read. Story and Poetry make this possible.
There is no way to experience all life has to offer while alive. You'd spend most hours traveling attempting that kind of life.
But there is reading.
Readers tend to have the healthiest relationships with themselves.
'Tend to' because some read for amusement only, for distraction.
We read well to know we're not alone...
That this thinking dreaming thing alive within us others have too.
Some share epic tales of Love, Heroics, Adventures. Others crystalize moments of revelation into Poetry.
Always for generosity; always to share.
Some share a catalog of record of thoughts and things that helped them along their way.
Reading is always a conversation with what makes conversation possible.
A poet's thoughts as the sunrises... everyday.
Hope they provide a healthy juxtaposition to other words online. Like your cellphone's picture app, there are many different filters to view the world.
May you find one that serves your greatest dream of life best.
Take care and have that wonderful day.

This First Person POV Adventure
Life is actually more like a Video Game than a stage, Shakespeare.
Sunday, April 05, 2026
Good morning, Twfw. O/
The sky is a single cloud misting for dawn. Evergreens line-up to shower in the steam and call the queue the horizon.
Early April, green gathers and rises from the wet.
Mud makes puddles like baker's batter to cook in the sun and crest confections called Life.
The Earth spins her spell called Life Living Alive to feed and keep us going.
Do you think Spring is Mother Nature's favorite song?
The maternity ward is always the happiest place in the hospital.
It's Oh Babies! Season for Mother Earth.
Do you consider the contrast much between your screen life and your out in the world life?
Does it help to remember we power up our phones the way the sun rises everyday? And just like our star: It's lights. It's camera. It's action projected for our witness.
The Sun gives us every sense to experience everyday; our coded screens are still eyes and ears only.
Kinda makes you wonder who coded The Sunshine...
Certainly not an Atheist.
I'd pray for a poet. Romance, Beauty, Art, Love, and Honor are a Celestial Video Game worth the experience.
How's your Life? Leveling up? Spending your weekends doing side-quests?
Maybe unlock a new job ability. Cooking? Painting? Body-building?
Make some new friends and grow your party dynamics.
Life is actually more like a Video Game than a stage, Shakespeare. But we'll forgive William the overlook for his lack of materials for his metaphor.
People get one life in this first person point of view adventure.
Rack up experience points, finish some quests, save your life while you save The World, and make a wonderful day.

The Hues of Morning
Do you think The World experiences the light like us?
Saturday, April 04, 2026
Good morning, Twfw. O/
Sunrise. Pinks and baby powder blues make a nursery wall of the horizon.
How's your sky?
Dreams make imaginings that want words; words to make living dreams possible.
Making sentences is how we make our dreams come true.
It's always the first step: Getting the words right.
Living a day without a clear understanding of what we're doing is like getting into a car with nowhere to go. There's more to life than 'just driving' your day.
Where are you going? What would you like to see and do and be?
Words of encouragement and insight will always be Poet's work. Sometimes they fill these morning pages.
...
It's color; it's light.
We rise and wake with The Sun. Our bodies adjust to the change of colors the spin of Our Earth brings.
Do you think The World experiences the light like us?
The hues of morning are groggy and slow.
Noontime shines bright get-it-done right tones over every city, seaside, and town.
Dusk is a hush; The Moon wakes for lullabies.
All of Life is an intricate twirl of sunshine and circles. A choreography of celestial fire dances The World.
The Sun is a composer and conductor of color.
Green is for traffic lights and Spring.
Both mean Go!
Where we are now.
Thanks for reading, take care and make a wonderful day.

Acronyms and Emoji
Acronyms and emoji make a Poetry of Efficiency.
Friday, April 03, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
What about an acronym?
G.M.T.W.F.W?
"That's a lot of caps first thing in the morning, Wynn."
-A Favorite Reader
True.
How about:
Good morning, Twfw?
"Yes, that works. Don't forget the circle-slash insignia, though."
-Helpful Favorite Reader
Good point.
So from now on Wonder Fell posts start:
Good morning, Twfw. O/
A one of a kind way to start each day.
One of a kind... like us.
...
A bit of business out of the way, how's the day?
That is business, btw. Acronyms are in the realm of Poetry, as are emoji.
'Twfw O/' is a very poetical act of writing.
So is: lol brt otw.
And here you are thinking your texts were just quick and lazy.
Acronyms and emoji make a Poetry of Efficiency. Which is redundant, as Poetry is the epitome of efficiency of language by design.
...
The Pink Moon, the first full moon of Spring, ebbs away.
Calendars are records of cycles of time.
We gather around a campfire to tell stories the way we spin around The Sun to share our lives.
Sun's up. Drab Spring morning, the kind that's good for growing things.
Hope all's well, Dear Reader.
Enjoy Poetry; text some acronyms and emoji, and make a wonderful day.

Music for Your Mind
Poetry is music for your mind with words and grammar for its only notes.
Thursday, April 02, 2026
Good morning, the Wonder Fell Way.
Spring rain, sunrise thoughts on the brain
Echo raindrop splashes on every window pane.
Rhyme is an easy example of what Poetry's power is all about.
There's lyricism, line length, and punctuation if you want to shout!
Or go soft...
The harmonies words make in a certain rhythm as you read is the focus of my craft.
Uplifting, motivating, worth wondering about, life affirming words to mirror the sunrise: What Wonder Fell is for...
And each sunrise.
See what poetic language is for yet?
Poetry is music for your mind with words and grammar for its only notes.
Is there a lyrical quality to these lines? Do they lull or lift? It's intentional, you know.
All the things a composer or pop musician has in mind when they write a song goes into the formation of every line a poet writes.
We write to communicate so much these days. But words do more than talk. They sing, too!
Making words sing using only the voice in your mind as you read is my Life's work and Love.
Eight notes make a major scale octave; I've got twenty-six letters and punctuation to make my music.
O/ Thanks for listening.
Words are our greatest gift and responsibility. We're monkeys without them. How you use your language and where, when, and why determines who you are.
It's crucial we remember: Our language is an extension of ourselves.
Who are you? Your words know. Consider them a mirror or selfie.
Take care and make a wonderful day already.

Everyone's Uppercase Q
A blogpost is a kind of poetic form. A picture, a title, a subtitle, the context itself.
Wednesday, April 01, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
How's it hangin'?
Got your slang on? Singin' your song? All day long?
Here's a morning cup of sunshine to wonder about on this Day of Fools.
Every year a whole day dedicated to the jester.
No kidding.
A recognition of the importance of Comedy in our lives.
Funny thing about being funny is it's very serious business.
Wrote about that once already though... here.
...
In the spirit of 'Words are Enough,' I changed the aesthetic of the site.
Poets value the shape, form, and rhythm of language as a part of the meaning of a piece of writing.
A blogpost is a kind of poetic form. A picture, a title, a subtitle, the context itself.
The experiment with AI imagery is over for Wonder Fell, but keeping to the form of a blogpost remains.
One cool thing about handwriting is its become a very cool thing to do.
So a screenshot of the first page of the morning journal for the obligatory pic to fit the requirement of the new 'poetic form.'
Handwriting for a header definitely gets AI scratching its Large Language Model head.
There's something more personal expressed through handwriting. It's why journals are best done longhand. Everyone's uppercase 'Q' is uniquely their own.
...
The Industrial Age brought mass-marketed goods. The AI age brings mass-marketed information.
We're headed towards a Signature Economy where individual creativity and nuance is valued above all else.
Art, in all its forms, is to become the only luxury item.
Each of us is unique. How we express that is what creativity is all about.
Our unique witness to The World is what all the Arts give us a means to express.
Artists! AI isn't making you obsolete. It's making you more valuable.
And making sure we stay true to the purpose of Art itself.
Art represents an individual's witness of a Life experience and not a mimicry of other Art.
Each of us filters Life in our own way.
Billions of Large Language Models walk The World. They're called humans. And each has their own unique perspective to share.
Life with all its drama and weather perpetually feeds us prompts to interpret, make literal sense of, and share.
Those who are best at this process are called Artists. Our witness gives The World a new way of sharing, new language to interpret every sunrise.
Take care and have that wonderful day.
