Squeaky Toy Daydreams
2025.09.16
Tuesday, September 16, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Hello, again. O/
A few hours before sunrise and Abe already with a squeaky toy.
I told him to keep the noise down.
Now, he lays with Stuffy Fluffy Cute Koala by his head and looks up at me from across the room.
"Quiet, Abe. There's a time and a place for play. Right now, go back to sleep."
Being a good friend, Abe's back asleep in his bed.
...
Interesting morning.
When you create a constant you recognize variables.
Some are easier to notice than others.
Squeaky toy at 3am squeaking is one noticeable variable.
We do this with our days.
We have our schedules. We make sense of what's new. We call what's new what happened that day.
But a whole lot more happened than just what's new.
Everything is happening. Always! All the time!
Every noun is a molecular verb dancing its own choreography!
Wonder! Life alive! Exclamation points this early and so many... guess I found my squeaky toy too, Abe.
Life! Alive! Wonder!
Hope all's well.
More well-tempered punctuation on the way.
On with our show...
...
How's you day?
Constant well-tempered? Variably exclamatory? A well-balanced mix?
However prevalent the squeaky toys of your life are I hope they find you well and that you're squeaking them with as much enthusiasm as you can squeak.
"Deep thoughts turn to squeaky toy daydreams, Wynn?"
- Reader with a Good Question
Sometimes fun is its own reason for being.
Sometimes 'because I enjoy it,' is the right and only answer.
Like your dog with a squeak toy.
"Squeaky toy daydreams turn to deep thoughts, Wynn?"
-Reader with a Good Point and Question
There's no shallow end in my pool; I dream in color.
All of them, all at once!
...
Back to the morning, as soon as it arrives.
Wonder Fell stays true to each sunrise.
Some are dull.
Some are vibrant flowery prose abounds shows.
Some are checklist to-do's for the day.
Today there's a sense of play at play, the sentences want irony, want wordplay.
Abe's a constant loyal friend.
He's also a barometer for fun.
"What's the fun forecast, today?"
"Did you check The Abe?"
A little breakfast, a few daydreams at the wall, at the sky, even checked the News.
Cancel Culture is everywhere.
No, it's not.
See?
Si.
What to believe in and how?
Wonder Fell is here to help that question.
Not a cult or a religion, the only resurrection talk here is of Wonder.
Centuries of Science squashed it, tried to cancel awe.
Here's something to cancel: Look up at the sky, see the sun, see the moon, count each star and realize how insignificant you are, then... cancel it.
Because you are here to be able to recognize every star, to sound every sunrise with words and breath, to exist at all means you have a place in this place under a canopy of stars.
You, this speck of dust on an astral sphere caught in the gravity of a star.
Supernovas, blackholes, moonbeams and your dreams of right, wrong, and a place for, and a face to... Love.
You are a miracle.
There is no way to cancel that.
How could you ever dismiss the heavens?
Stare at your feet all day?
Your feet came from somewhere, too.
"Yes, there was a Bang, a really Big one, and now everyone wants to fall in Love."
-Cancel Culture Sometimes Reader Who Is Really Just a Lonely Person Begging for Attention
Look up! Each star is just as amazed you exist as you are amazed they do.
You have Life.
Somehow, someway, you're here.
To be alive is only as wonderful as you're willing to recognize it to be.
I recognize it wonderful.
I know you do, too.
You have Life. Dream something beautiful and make it.
And make wonderful this wonderful (sometimes squeaky) day.

Places, Everyone
2025.09.15
Monday, September 15, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Welcome back. O/
Sunrise stalls, it's the start of Fall's color show.
What else to say but Good Day, and take it from there?
I look forward to Wonder Fell, there's peace here.
Hope you find it here, too.
Hope your day goes well.
On with our show...
...
Slow words so far this morning.
Monday morning whooshes by on the highway. The Sun starts the light show called a day.
"Places, everyone."
-The Sun Directs
All the acts of yesterday are the stage design for a show called Today.
Sure Bard, all the World's a stage, but we're more than merely players; we're crew too.
Live today, yes, but set the stage for Tomorrow's Today while you do.
Ideally living your best day means bringing what's best for your life around you, so stage design works itself out.
But do keep it in mind: What we do Today lives in Tomorrow.
If you don't want to see it in your house when you wake up, make sure it's not in your house when you fall asleep.
Metaphorically and Literally.
Simple advice. Life changing, though.
So how's your day? Getting it done? A little fun in The Sun?
Spend sometime assuring Tomorrow's set up to be a good day before you say good night.
Try it out. It helps so much.
...
The sky is a grey bedsheet fading to blue.
The horizon is a thin band of shine off a metallic line of evergreens.
Abe decided to go back to sleep, a few dog dreams to finish up.
Thanks for reading, take care, set your stage, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Your Best Dream of You
2025.09.14
Sunday, September 14, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Glad you're here. O/
Sunlight shows the silhouette of oaks and firs.
The sounds of freeway traffic build to a good morning crescendo.
Hope all's well.
On with our show...
...
Wonder Fell's a little more topical the past few days.
It's just what the morning, first thing, wants to say.
So much.
Every car on the highway has its own reason for driving, its own story and destination; every reader their own reason for reading this sentence.
Where's the commonality?
An author must know their audience or the words are for nowhere, so that's where they go.
What I know about you: You're a dreamer. As practical as you may believe you are you still have to dream you're practical before you can be it.
Facts and figures are prepackaged dreams. They've been around awhile. They're reliable.
But someone had to dream each and every fact, then point it out before we could talk about it.
It's important, especially right now with AI working its way into our lives, that you remember dreams come first.
These dreams, this morning, want comfort, want peace, want simplicity.
"What can I give you to help you grow?"
-The Sun Asking Its Only Question
Wonder, the world needs to remember wonder.
So here we are.
And encouragement.
So here we go.
Enjoy today. Do your best to. Take a timeout here and there. Remember you're having a good day, no one gets to decide that but you and how you view where you're at in the story of you.
The story of you is the dream you have of yourself. Your expression of your dream is who you are in this Great Dream Called Life.
Deep thoughts morning. They ought to be common knowledge. They're just the way things work.
Now you know.
Work on your best dream of you.
How can you better show it to the world?
Take care and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Now You Know
2025.09.11
Thursday, September 11, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Glad you're here. O/
Early mornings, even for me, the past few days.
Why?
Season change, perhaps?
Or The Moon?
The Moon is always a good reason when you don't have a good reason.
That celestial sphere is always up to something.
Like you.
Hope you're up to something good.
Theme, theme, who's got the dream?
What does this morning want to say?
Well... there's no politics here, no theatre.
Dreams and sharing dreams of each morning in each morning is what you find here.
On with the show...
...
I want you not to feel so alone with your daydreams, not to feel so misunderstood.
I want you to know you're valuable for reasons no one ever told you existed.
I want you to know your dreams matter so much more than you realize.
There is an inexhaustible fountain of inspiration and peace available to you.
It's called The Dream of Life.
Get familiar with it.
Sit in quiet everyday for a short time or more.
What is this Life business all about?
What joy is there here?
What can you do to bring more into your life?
Chances are you're living someone else's idea of what's best for you.
Cut it out.
You have a responsibility to your dreams to see them through.
If you don't know your dreams... that's not true. You did know them when you were young.
Remember. Sit and remember.
Did you ever think those dreams are there for a reason?
Shame on you with your existential crisis so loud with dreams as wonderful and true as yours.
Where did your dreams come from?
You just made them up?
Seriously? Where'd you get the materials?
You inherited pieces of a larger dream called Life and you weaved them together into something beautiful called The Dream of a Life Worth Living.
Get living it.
Make it real one step at a time. One breath, one moment, one motion.
I know you've got this because it is your purpose.
You are a machine made to dream and make those dreams tangible sensible things called Realities.
That is what your Life is for: To dream great dreams to further Life and make them real.
You wanted to know what Life is about, now you know.
There's a certain way to go about making a dream real. Good news, you already know it.
If you've ever read a book, watched a movie, or listened to a story, you know it.
The reason stories work in a certain way is because that is the way Life works.
The Hope every Hero starts every story with is your dream of a better Life.
To be The Hero of, and for, your greatest dreams... that is your point and purpose.
...
Still a few minutes till sunrise.
"Why write Wonder Fell at all, Wynn?"
-A Favorite Reader
Because I know it's medicine for The World.
Because it's my greatest dream to do so.
With a touch of sunlight showing, take care, check-in on your inspirational dreams however mundane or sensational they are (they're yours for a reason), take a step to make one real today, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

Each Baby's Dress
2025.09.10
Wednesday, September 10, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Welcome back. O/
Good to be read by you again.
Hope all's well.
On with the show...
...
Identity.
Such a major question in regards to Wonder Fell still, such a major theme in humanity still, as well.
Coincidence?
"We know you better than that."
-Dear Wonder Fell Readers
How you know me better is +he Ghos+ point.
We are not our image; we are what makes our image.
The part of you that chooses is what you are.
Identity is its expression.
Wonder Fell is a place to write the sunrise and shine light on the power of dreams.
Themes rise like our star when I do.
...
Morality is always a tenant here, and morality is something in dire need of discussion. A quick check on the News headlines of any recent day show us this truth.
The world of human relations works in a certain way. We laugh, cheer, and cry at the same moments in stories regardless of our race, gender, cultural habits, or political tendencies.
Our fascination and focus on gender identification as a race is the awkward beginning to Humanity's apology for History's treatment of women.
There's a lot of amends to be made.
A new understanding of gender is not necessarily a denial of gender. It can, and should be, a celebration of it.
To be born a man, to be born a woman, to be born at all! These are wonderful miraculous things.
We dress each baby in the political fashions of the day.
We continue to dress ourselves in our chosen political fashions as we mature.
A short time ago we began hanging our pronouns in our closets with our dress shirts.
I commend any attempt of self-expression.
But to say you are a woman or a man just because of a change of wardrobe or diet, is to do an injustice to yourself and that which you seek to express.
If a man loves so much what it means to be a woman that he wishes to express it with every fiber of his being then... express away!
Being a woman is a beautiful thing to be, so is being a man. Show the world how wonderful it is. But please don't deny what you are, don't deny the reality of your birth so you can express what you love.
Be proud of you and your ability to recognize beauty and strength in places most don't ever look.
There is something about a woman more than biology that makes childbirth possible. Something immeasurable... a Ghost Point.
We should celebrate gender. And that's truly what the Trans movement is about. Not about removing gender, but accentuating it.
A woman in labor is the best person to ask if a man can ever truly be a woman.
I defer my verdict to her.
The political equality of men and women is what we're really discussing with the pronoun fashion movement.
And it's about time we do.
Yes, there are millennia worth of amends to make for women. Adjusting to an actual equality for women in our society brings about some initial awkwardness.
Change is strange at the start, but the change is happening.
I'm glad for it.
Consider the Trans movement an adjustment period in the evolution of human civilization, as we start to correct our society's treatment and understanding of women.
Of all the things for the sunrise to bring today...
I hope all is well with you regardless what you choose to wear today.
Take care, express your best you by expressing what you best love, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

A Quick Thank You to the Sky
2025.09.09
Tuesday, September 09, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Good to be read by you again. O/
Hope all's well.
On with our show...
...
Dark, still a few hours before sunrise.
"Why do it Ghos+? Why persist?"
-Curious Wonder Fell Reader
Love is the quick answer.
Writing, for me, always feels like the right thing to be doing.
There's love and care and concern here for life, and by all indications based on so much we share online, the world could use a regular dose of something good.
I love to make sentences.
We could all use a steady supply of things in our lives made by people doing what they love.
To have more of those experiences isn't wishful thinking; it's our responsibility.
It's so easy to share our words and images now.
Access isn't an issue, where we place our value is.
I urge you to at least have one source of good news in your life to view everyday.
For your own health and all of ours.
Wonder Fell is here to stay and will always remain a place of positivity.
You're welcome to read it as much as you feel it helps you raise your spirit.
...
Abe in a deep dog sleep on the loveseat, me staring daydreams at the sky as the first rays of light shape the contours of evergreens on the horizon.
I wonder what the world is like for you, wonder how your days go.
There's so much that can be beautiful and good. The way the sun persists to shine on evergreens and humanity proves a day is worth the star's effort.
"Personifying The Sun now, Wynn?"
-Sometimes Jaded for No Good Reason Reader
It's the kind thing to do.
A lot of work goes into being the center of a universe, maybe send a quick thank you to the sky today.
Here's a fun daydream exercise for fellow nerds and those who secretly want to play Dungeons and Dragons but don't know where to begin:

The Moon for Breakfast
2025.09.08
Monday, September 8, 2025
Good morning The Wonder Fell Way.
Welcome back. O/
Hope all's well.
On with the show...
...
The Moon!
For breakfast!
For an alarm clock...
Shine bright, right through my window.
A Full Corn Moon right now.
Complete with an eclipse.
Did you know each full moon has a name, has many names?
Each name is a representative for the time of year and what seeing that particular cycled full moon means to a specific culture.
The moon's a clock and a calendar.
Time to harvest corn around here.
It's an interesting exercise to look up the various names of each full moon.
It's a history lesson into many ancient cultures.
Of course there's magic in it, too.
We can hardly talk about The Moon without talking about magic.
Life wouldn't exist without The Moon.
Seriously scientifically would not exist.
The Moon makes the ocean wave. O/
The Moon is responsible for so much.
The Moon shook the snow globe called Earth.
And Look!
The waters moved and brought forth all these creatures.
Really.
The Moon nudged the Earth, shook the celestial snow globe, and here we are... viewable humanity to a cosmic audience.
And now the sunrise.
Soft pastel blue to white to touch the horizon just the right shade of metallic orange glow to signal the start of a peaceful September day.
Perfect weather to harvest some corn.
But your ancestors knew that already.
And so did The Moon.
...
A potted African Violet sits on the table to my left.
I downloaded an app around a year ago to help me better care for it.
Since that time its sprouted many flowers.
At present there are three joyful blooms waving out the window to The Corn Moon.
Technology will never be beautiful, but it can nurture what's beautiful.
In fact, I believe that ultimately is what technology is for: to help create and nurture what's beautiful.
It takes our recognition and concern to foster and create beautiful things.
Every flower in bloom requires the care and attention of its whole environment to become truly beautiful.
If that means a little AI and a cellphone app, that's just fine with this African Violet, The Corn Moon alarm clock, and me.
Take care, enjoy today, encourage something beautiful to grow, and make wonderful this wonderful day.

An Inciting Incident
2025.09.07
Sunday, September 07, 2025
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
At it again... a day!
Still an hour or so until sunrise.
"Why up so early, Ghos+?"
-Curious Reader
There's something about sunrise, and just a little before, so conducive to writing.
I used to think it was just security of quiet, fewer chances at interruptions.
There's more, though.
The thoughts one has first thing in the morning, untouched by so much of humanity's insistence on what passes for news these days, are simple, honest, worth having for the sake of the great peace they recognize.
And, so, I write the sunrise, the great peace so long forgot.
Hushed, tamped down and trampled with schedules set on a schedule removed from the Sun's.
Epic, prolific, persistent as the sunrise itself, Wonder Fell marches on.
Glad you're here. O/
Hope all's well.
On with our show...
...
What's next?
There's stories and hellos.
There's this Ghos+ getting real business to tend to.
Quite an interesting morning.
Change is present.
The part of the story, book, or movie, you never read or saw before, but something just occurred to change the whole direction of the plot.
An Inciting Incident.
So, my fellow writers who read Wonder Fell, it's a new beginning kind of day.
For those of us untrained in the craft of story, every tale starts with a quick getting to know the main character moment followed by something happening to them that changes their life.
That something that happens we call: The Inciting Incident.
"What happened Ghos+?"
- Concerned Reader
A change of course for me.
Someday more personal entries will make it here.
All things in good time, though.
...
Sun's up.
Rain drips its drops.
Must've been heavy dreams last night.
A lot to set straight with my thoughts this morning.
As this entry reflects.
Hope it's not raining on your parade.
Unless it's a parade you didn't really want to go to.
Then, well... I wish you downpours for your well-being!
Buckets of precious precipitations for your peace of mind!
An interesting day today full of wonder.
I wish you the best.
As always, thank you for reading.
