A Deep Breath of Dreams
Daydreaming is like shopping for a story. Then, it's like cooking.
Sunday, March 29, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
How's the day?
The first light of dawn, the sky starts to showcase blue.
Sometimes the morning just wants to watch the morning.
There's no such thing as an idle daydream. Everything matters; everything adds up.
Dreaming is part of living, as necessary as breathing.
Conscious daydreams are taking a deep breath of dreams.
And what are dreams for?
How come you don't know?
All the stories, myths, Scientific theories, and tales live in a place called The Imagination.
Daydreaming is like shopping for a story.
Then, it's like cooking.
We choose ingredients from this catalog of stories from humanity and build our own recipes.
We do this with everything in our lives.
How many of us would like to fly on the back of a dragon? O/
The same ways to imagine yourself dragon-back flying are used to get you to work everyday.
You have to dream it before you can do it.
How are your dreams of your life?
They're the recipes for your day.
This is why daydreaming is so important.
We gather new ingredients by changing what we dream our day means to us.
You can only be as successful as your dreams allow.
There's so much to say on this. It's how I spend much of my days lately... bringing it all to light in an epic called: Colore.
The start of it is here. A whole lot more is on its way quite soon.
I'll go to it now.
Thanks for reading.
Take care, give care, and make a wonderful day (after you dream one up of course).

A Working Definition of Paradise
Too many of us think a robot could live our life better than us... which is an indication our systems are flawed.
Saturday, March 28, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
At it again, these wordy ways with dawn.
Thanks for joining me. O/
Things to wonder about to bring magic into your life. There's hundreds of posts here to help you do that.
Wonder, enthusiasm, awe... we replaced them as a race with hubris, reliability, and probability centuries ago. So much so now even the most beautifully lived life feels quite mundane.
Too many of us think a robot could live our life better than us... which is an indication our systems are flawed.
There's more to life than adding it up; there's the joy of adding it up.
It comes to value. How do you define your worth?
After basic needs are cared for, money is only as valuable as the experiences it affords.
So what's up with experience? How are your moments? That's how to rate the quality of your life.
Do your moments serve your best dream of yourself?
More morning philosophy with your friendly neighborhood poet.
I'd rather write about the sunrise.
Consistent, reliable, punctual: Beauty. It's the aim of this journal to mirror each dawn.
Alarm clocks go off around the Nation. A world where everyone is glad to wake up in the morning... sounds like a working definition of Paradise to me.
Maybe you're not a writer, but you have some work you love to do. Start each day with what you love. Even if only for a short time. It matters more than you know that you do. Because the quality of our moments far out passes the quantity of our days in level of importance.
How we live our lives matters far more than how long we live.
Take care, give care, and make today wonderful.

And What Is Poetry?
A song worth singing about; a new witness of events worth new words.
Friday, March 27, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
Wind. The evergreens are a cheerleading squad for Spring. A powder blue sky pinches a band of orange pink light to draw the horizon. Lights on. Curtains up. Time for a show called: A New Day.
Let's make it a good one.
...
There's always poetry somewhere in your life. And what is poetry? A song worth singing about; a new witness of events worth new words.
Writing that lyrically expresses life in a novel way is like a new color in your box of crayons. You have a new way to express yourself.
I wonder what the color blue looks like to you, how a C major chord's positive simple harmony cheers up your ears, what lilacs mean to your nose when you know their blooms are around.
We share the World; we see it in our own way. Science speaks to the consistency of matter, not its experience.
That's what our relationships and our Arts are for... sharing our unique witness of the color blue, a C major chord, the scent of lilacs in Spring.
Life alive living Life, you're living it!
What's up with that?
...
Dreamy sunrise thoughts for a poet's morning journal to stretch the word making muscles for the day ahead.
I do hope all is well Dear Reader. And that maybe you've found that the quality of your life rests in how you define it. That perhaps you started defining what things mean to you instead of letting things define you.
Wonder how the relationships in your Life can mean more to and for you, take care, give care, and make that wonderful day already.

Optimism for Breakfast?
2026.03.26 It's a common sense we lost sight of.
Thursday, March 26, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
With the sunrise right on time, a soft rain splashing gutters, feeding Spring.
How's Life, Dear Reader?
Better than you know, better than you've been told, somewhere... for sure.
Optimism for breakfast? No. It's a common sense we lost sight of. Most of us got it pretty good. Food, water, warmth, a few good friends, the ability to read Wonder Fell. O/
It's what you do with what you have to work with that determines the quality of your day... to some degree.
The part we've left out for quite sometime is that how you do what you do matters at least as much as what you do.
Any action done with genuine concern for the results brings a good outcome.
So the best advice I've ever come across is: Find work you love and build your life around it. Make doing that your 'job' until you do.
Practical words this morning. Find or make a way to love what you're doing until what you're doing is work you love. Then just do your work. A simple recipe to live a beautiful life.
If making art is what you love, find joy in doing all the things that makes creating art possible. Having food and shelter and supplies are all business expenses for an Artist.
Build your Life around doing what you Love. Consider all your actions during a day. Do they all support your dream?
If not cut them out or redefine them to best serve your best dream of Life... also known as doing the work you love.
Thanks for reading, take care, give care, and make wonderful day.

Welcome to The New World
2026.03.25 The dead talk with us, and walk for us, everyday on screens across the world.
Wednesday, March 25, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
A poet's journal, (and poetry), for a New World.
In case you wanted a TL;DR: There you go. ^
Welcome to The New World. O/
Kinda snuck up on you over the past decade or so, huh?
We could blame the change on a lot of things: Politics, AI, The Internet, The Not- Really-News News, Greedy Billionaires... but there's only ever one reason:
Our words.
How we use our language, and why, is how we shape our world. Text messaging and Internet communication has left us feeling safe from the immediate consequences of our word choices.
Repercussions are still here. They just arrive differently. Consider the daily and nightly news as of late as the repercussions of our new ways to share words.
Send a good message of hope and human consideration to someone online and as soon as it's read it lives in the story of who and what you are.
Troll someone and the same rule applies.
Breath dissipates; the printed word remains.
What we write leaves a lasting impression in ways spoken words never could.
Your great-great-grandmother's Facebook nags and loves you from her grave.
The dead talk with us, and walk for us, everyday on screens across the world.
Welcome to The New World: The Land of The Living Dead.
This kind of living comes with a new sense of responsibility; it's a poet's dream come true.
Every text and post made online potentially immortalizes you.
How's your character? What's your legacy?
Generations from now will know. Anyone who reads you today knows, too.
This is a point of order and a call for responsibility concerning the words we share.
Are you comfortable with everyone else defining who and what your are and what your life can mean? If so, AI your responses and live an inconsequential life.
Or realize you are your own living, breathing Large Language Model with the opportunity to change the world.
In at least some small way we all change the story of each day, everyday we're alive.
What's your contribution to today?
Are you making each day wonderful?
You can; you know.
The words you choose define you. A few decades ago that only seemed to matter in mostly momentary ways... unless you were a writer.
Hey, New World: Speaking is not writing. What you write lasts.
That's one of the great things about it.
The written word has consequences we seldom discuss. We say the cliché: 'Think before you speak.' But you should at least think twice as long before you post or share text. Those words might last forever... forever defining you.
We get what we give remember. Every time your text or post is read you are giving that to someone.
So it comes back.
Again.
If you grumbled and complained about a bad day on Monday online, you're still a grumpy nag on Friday regardless how you feel to the person reading it on Friday.
And so goes the state of the Modern World. Reporters, journalists, everyday people stuck in walls made by their walls of text.
A note of caution in today's entry for you to help make sense of the seeming chaos of late. You are responsible for everything you write and share: Forever.
Before you text or post make sure you'll mean it next year or even a hundred years from now.
Take care, give care, and make a wonderful day.

Our Bodies Are Our Apps
Each and everyone of us is a Large Language Model making dreams come true.
Tuesday, March 24, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
The Sun starts to show its glow on a dusting of snow The Moon knows about.
Dreams and what The Imagination can do, and is for, is my cup of tea.
And my work.
Your life is a series of the dreams you choose to employ and apply. It's what you have a body for: The application of dreams.
Our bodies are our apps to bring to life the software called our 'self.'
Art and Science mirror Life. All the technology made to make cellphones and AI work have to mirror something already here to exist at all.
The way an initial prompt calls to action every software application is how we live our lives.
Each and everyone of us is a Large Language Model making dreams come true.
And nerds thought they had no use for, or place in, poetry.
Kinda makes you wonder what this substance called dreams is all about.
Random electro-magnetic sparks in our fleshy brains is flat-Earth Science talking.
Antiquated at best.
A better understanding of what all recorded history calls 'spirit' is our next step in evolution.
Science is about to finish the task of making machines to do Science better than any human can.
So, fellow nerds, what's left after all the calculations and measurements are automated?
What dreams are for and can do.
Also known as Art.
Welcome to the show. O/
Let's put all the amazing creations Science made possible to work and make our best dreams come true...
Beautifully.
Just some thoughts this morning on the trend of human thought and where we're headed.
Thanks for reading, take care and make a wonderful day.

Enter The Poet. O/
A new way to see and sense requires new language to express and experience it.
Monday, March 23, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell Way.
A few hundred first thing in the morning words to help keep us grounded and guided as we shift to a more artificially intelligent world.
Everyday.
From a poet, nonetheless... those whose craft AI can never measure.
There's a unique rhythm of voice and word choice to make new metaphors which cannot be replicated that's intrinsic in poetry.
A new way to see and sense requires new language to express and experience it.
Enter The Poet. O/
Welcome to Wonder Fell. Stay awhile and read. Remember the world's still a beautiful place when we know where and how to look.
Thanks for looking.
...
How's your sunshine?
Like a blue light in a darkroom on a dimmer switch set to low, dawn shows in the night sky.
Wonder Fell's been wanting the past couple mornings. More... something new... a new light... some new arrangement of words?
Perhaps it's the call of Spring doing its thing.
Change! Grow! Live! The song of Spring.
Make it Beautiful one more spin.
Earth's Grow Show now in session.
Expect some changes in Wonder Fell soon.
Aesthetics, perhaps.
I hope all's well with you Dear Reader.
Nothing profound to find here this morning other than Spring's insistence to match Poetry's Commandment: "Make it new."
Maybe it's time for some upgrades in your Life.
Consider it, take care, and make a wonderful day.

Word Count
A writer is a play within a play called Life creating plays.
Sunday, March 22, 2026
Good morning, The Wonder Fell way.
Welcome back. O/
Another day, some other rays of light to paint the World right.
Slow words this morning... dreams adjust.
How'd you sleep?
...
Years ago when the writing wouldn't flow, I'd force it to. Nothing much useful comes from lines made like that.
Word count doesn't count for much if your words don't count for much.
Let's talk about quality.
There are so many fashions and fads on how to write more, more, more. There's even software designed to write for you. But you can never have anything, or anyone, write something for you.
Using AI to write for you is copying off someone else's paper during a test.
Telling a bot to write you a story like Mark Twain doesn't produce an article of writing. That finished 'story' is nothing more than proof of winning a video game.
Congratulations you entered a successful prompt!
Quality of writing is found in the quality of experience of how you write.
It's why writers prefer quiet places to work; our best states of mind are found there.
I've read many writers consider their best writing comes when they think of it like talking on paper.
But writing and speaking are no more similar than singing a melody or playing it on the piano.
So many more options are available with 88 keys and a pen or QWERTY board than with just a human voice.
Harmony of the notes and words... timing for another.
Back to quality: what it is and how to get to it consistently.
Imagine going to lunch with a good friend you haven't seen in years. You both sit, order food, get comfortable.
Then you each take out your phones, open your Casual Conversations App, type in 'catch-up with an old friend,' sync your phones, and press play.
Your phone speakers chat away while you both drool, stare out windows, and wait for your food....
The point of friendship is human interaction. Now, if you both commented and laughed on the mock conversation from the app together that would be a positive life-affirming experience.
Software can never replicate what it means to be human. There's more than flesh and bones to our flesh and bones.
Which is why we communicate... to share those qualities that make Scientists roll their empirical eyes: Our hearts and souls.
Every human being is a living story. Every story is about renewal, growth, and change in the hands of hope.
So when you write you are communicating a story within a story: This Tale of You.
A writer is a play within a play called Life creating plays.
Quality in writing comes from how well we match the moment of the creation of our words to the state of the moment in our lives.
What's going on with your personal story while you write goes into every word typed.
Words are always wholly representative of the moment they are created.
Say hello to a friend, a stranger, a business associate and that same word means something slightly different depending on the relationship.
Get your relationship to writing to best suit your love for the craft. Sit down for romance every time you write. Make love while you make sentences and every word will sound your heart and soul. And perhaps, finally, give Scientists something to measure while they contemplate The Beautiful.
Take care and make a wonderful day.
